Retail Manager Battles Prejudice in her Fight Against Acne.
It’s never a good thing to feel people judge you based on your looks. You can be the nicest or the friendliest person in the room, but when they choose to look at your face instead of what’s inside, it’s a truly defeating feeling.
Such is the case for Andrea Roces, a retail operations manager. “It’s so funny because ¬a while ago, there was a line saying na the person was hurt because people don’t see beyond my face and that’s how I feel. That’s why I had a hard time a while ago because being a career-driven person and being a front liner in a sales industry, your skills are always overlooked and if your product is beauty and you have pimples, they don’t listen to you anymore.

by my acne."
While what others think should never be a problem, it’s when your confidence is being shaken that you should take matters into your own hands. Thankfully, the #1 Exfoliant brand, Maxi-Peel, has come up with a solution.
With Maxi-Peel’s “Wag Mong Isuko ang Laban” campaign, Andrea took on the challenge of using Maxi-Peel’s Exfoliant Solutions #2, which would give her visible results after 60 days of optimal use and help her gain more confidence than ever with her career.
“It’ll make me more fearless and make better plans with no more restrictions like with work. I don’t think I’ll still feel that and it’ll make more opportunities for me and that it’ll make my life turn a 180 degree angle for sure,” she shared.
